Dear BGS Members,
Our good friends at University of Auckland have invited us for a special and interactive seminar on International Women's Day! The theme for 2021 is #ChooseToChallenge. They’ve organised a panel of female academics, students and alumnae to share their thoughts on what the day means to them. According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2020, New Zealand ranks 6th in the world for gender-equality, on economic, education, health and political criteria. However, we still lag behind when it comes to wage gaps between men and women, (38th in the world), and women in senior roles (26th in the world). Join the University of Auckland Business School for an interactive lunchtime panel discussion this International Women’s Day, Monday 8 March, to hear from academics, students and alumnae. Come along and join the conversation. Find out more and register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/international-womens-day-choose-to-challenge-tickets-141373332443 |
