It was a privilege for BGS members to be invited and take part in the Creating Positive Futures sustainability roundtable discussion between AUT/UoA students and industry leaders in the sustainability field last week. The session was co-hosted between the AUT Business School and AUT alumna Britt Little and Cam Berry from the Young Sustainability Leaders AUNZ.
The session was based on 3 short films featuring environmental & social impact leaders, followed by a discussion between students and industry leaders at their respective tables. The aim, to elicit intergenerational perspectives that demonstrate the power of community-building and the importance of dialogue across social impact themes. From the lively discussions had, this aim was definitely achieved!
